Hi!
Let me echo Ursula's praise and thanks for all those attending and helping.
This was by far the best organized public demo in redent memory, and for many
of us, the best we have ever participated in.
Gaston and Galen did a great job with the field and Maddalena made it all
happen for us. Colm and Clere had the most fun, I think(the most laughter
came from their booth) and the info table was busy most of the day. I heard
people oohing and awing over scrolls next to Calli and Adriana making coins.
Then there was spoon weaving which had several of our visitors making good
use of the old flatware and a convenient door-jamb. Performers, cooks
(meatballs and heaven's own sauce chefs), etc.
One thing is certain: everyone should have met Max by now. I don't know if
there was anyone who didn't get to ride to the lot with him. Thanks alot,
Max! I probably had 3 or 4 trips in your car. Occasionally, our commitments
to our hobbie spills onto our significant others and family members. For
that I'll recognize Max, Patrice, and my own daughter Alaine, who is so much
more rewarding as a child than I ever was(and I deserve it so much less than
my own mother did).
Again, my thanks to any and all who made the demo possible, and especially to
Livia and Urtsula for the amazing amount of work that made this go so well.
