Having had said surgery to have Both mammaries removed I was quite pleased
to be going home the day after surgery. That's right 23hour admission is
what they called it. I was appalled when they told me that's all I would be
staying but I was doing well and able to do the important stuff - eat
without being fed, get to and from the bathroom with paperwork completed,
and while dressing was more of a challenge I did have help at home. Being
an RN I know what is floating around in hospitals and don't want to be
around them any more than necessary. My drains stayed in for 3 weeks after
this. What a topic... Nuf said. If you want to talk with me about this
let's take it off list please. Thanks
