Officially, that's simply the "round hat."  There used to be a "flat hat," 
sometimes called the Donald Duck due to its similarity to that character's 
trademark headgear.  I don't think it the sailor's round hat is at all similar to 
the 'ducal hat,' whose crown, I'm pretty certain, is flat on top rather than 
domed like the round hat.
