I wish I could make that hat for you, but my millinery skills don't stretch
as far as shaping wool felt. I expect that some sort of block would be
required for that particular hat, especially since it's such an unusual
shape.

You might ask around on the Italian_Rennaissance_Costuming Yahoo Group (and
yes, the name of the group is misspelled on Yahoo). Someone there might
either be able to do it for you or point you in the right direction. Good

PS. My personal opinion is that the balzo is the coolest hat in the Known
World! But that's just me... ;-)
