[MR] I need some advice??

Greetings I hope this mailing finds you all in good health. My wife and I are 
going to attempt to make our own Viking tent  and day shade for housing at 
events , as this is my first time attempting this with limited money I have 
opted for using painters canvas . Would anyone out there have any advice as to 
what kinda of paint to use and what water sealer woud be best,
