well thanks for that wonderful story nicholas. while we are not doing
anything to better the situation how about i share mine?

after a 13 year subscription to the acorn i have never missed an issue. i
have never had one show up later than the early part of the month of issue.
i have always paid first class rates. and, i have always been able to plan
months in advance due to the overlap of information found in its pages. i
have enjoyed the hard work of five different chroniclers during that time
and only partially understand the amount of time that job demands. my hat
is off to them and their efforts.

nicholas, try writing to your postal carrier since that is where your beef
is. i doubt they are subscribed to this list.

regards
logan

Some people are like Slinkies: not really good for anything, but you still
can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.

After a 2-year subscription during which 2 issues each year did not arrive
at all and those arriving came between the 10th and 25th of the month and
after multiple email messaging here in NC and phone conversations to CA, I
simply dropped the subscription by paying only associate membership dues.
I'm just as well off so far as receiving useful information goes and my
frustration level has been reduced dramatically. I recommend the practice.
