[MR] those acorn "woes"

i just got this response and wasnt sure if the sender intended to respond to
me privately or to the list.  either way i thought it was an interesting
example of how the postal service works since i live about five miles from
the main post office the acorn is mailed from (from which the acorn is
mailed i meant).

And we live in Lincolnton, which is a county away from Charlotte (two
counties, depending on where you're coming from), and got ours yesterday. Go
