Salutations, Atlantia -

The Canton of Misty Marsh by the Sea, and the Barony of Hidden Mountain has
lost one of our own. Jay Fisher (Lord Julian Wolf) passed away in the early
hours this morning due to injuries from a car accident. Services will be Friday
or Saturday here in Misty Marsh (Florence, SC).

Many of you have probably seen Jay, but do not necessarily recognize his
name. He was the tall, skinny fencer from Hidden Mountain who wore the double set
of hearing aids. He was always very talkative and friendly, always willing to
help where he could.

We are all deeply saddened to learn of this tragic news.
Jay (Julian) will certainly be missed.  He always had such
enthusiasm, and wanted to be a part of everything.  We shall remember
him as he would have wanted - rapier in hand, smiling...not caring
whether he won or lost, but just happy to be participating. He tried three
times harder than most, and had fierce determination to accomplish his goals
He was incredibly proud of the Misty Marsh Mist Tent he put together, much to
the relief of the local fighters.

Baroness Lina St. Albans wrote today "His cheerful perseverance in the face
of such great physical obstacles should serve as a model for all of us.  We are
the poorer for his loss.  If there is a rapier fighting group in heaven,
somebody should tell them
he's on his way."

He will be sorely missed.
Go with God, Jay.

Jay (Julian) was in an accident on his way to Charleston. His SUV rolled.
They airlifted him to the hospital, but he had too much trauma. Its unsure if
the
funeral will be Friday or Saturday as it was on the highway and apparently
the law requires an investigation before they release the body. It'll be at
Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home in Florence.
