 We have been unable to book a convention rate that is acceptable (tourist
rates at that time are over $100 a night), therefore, we suggest you check
rates at www.Orbitz.com for hotels within 15 miles east of Canton, N.C.

 www.travelocity.com also has decent rates showing.  They currently have the
Best Western on Smoky Park Highway for $55.07 a night.  There is also a
Ramada Inn, Red Roof Inn, Sleep Inn, and Super 8 all at the exit off of
I-40.

 The sooner you book, the more likely you can get in on a reasonable rate!
