First, thank you to everyone who has sent us award recommendations. The greatest joy of being Queen is getting to recognize those who contribute to our Society, and this would not be possible without hearing from our populace. Lately I have been getting multiple copies of e-mails from well-meaning folk sending recommendations. If you send e-mail to the king or queen alias, it is routed directly to our personal e-mail accounts. There is no need to copy our personal e-mail address as well. Please note that I have a high-level spamblocker on my account. If you are not already in my address list, your e-mail will go to a special folder, where I can choose to add you to my address list. I WILL receive your e-mail. You will receive an electronic form that allows you to request access to my "allowed sender" list. Filling out this form is the quickest way to make sure I have seen your message and will add you to my list.

I am pleased to announce that after many months of hard work, we are very close to unveiling a new online award recommendation system. Lord Gruffadd has been programming and testing this system, and we should have it up and running in a few days. We will still accept letters of recommendation by postal or e-mail, but encourage you to use this online system. Lord Gruffadd will be posting the URL and instructions in the next few days.

Finally, the sooner we receive your recommendations, the better. Recommendations received 2 days before the event are very difficult to act on, and depending on what time we leave to drive to an event, we may not even see them. Please recommend early and often!
