Greetings to the Tavern,

As a coastal Kingdom, many of us have lived with hurricanes our whole lives.  Still, even we have been taught not to be complacent by the fury of Hugo and Floyd in years past.  As I watch the preparations by modern means I am mindful of all our dear friends and fellow Atlantians along the coast and into the Chesapeake Bay.  

I hope that you have made plans for your homes and take seriously the requests of Emergency personnel to evacuate as indicated.  I am thankful for Lady Rebecca the Contrary and all those whose generosity brings comfort to those who worry for their homes.

Again, I encourage you to think of safety as you are all much to important to us for any undo risk.  I will be watching and listening for news of your safety.
