[MR] Chalice of the Sun God -- Update

Greetings Atlantia!

Just wanted to give you an update on where we stand with that storm moving
through as it concerns Chalice of the Sun God.

Prince William Forest Park is closing as of 2 p.m. today to ride out the
storm.  The National Weather Service is predicting 6-10 inches of rain, and
sustained winds of 110 mph.  According to the newscast graphics, it will
pass through our area (Northern Virginia) Friday morning, and be well out of
the area by late Friday.  However, until this thing hits land, we don't know
what will happen.

Even though the storm will be gone by Saturday, if the park is damaged, it
will remain closed.  Given the way things are going, there is a chance that
we may not be able to open the event on Friday, but will be able to have the
Saturday activities.  There is still a chance we will have to cancel
entirely.

Please watch this space for updates. For those of you who are planning on
coming but are unsure of whether you will have electricity, and therefore
will be without web access tomorrow, please take down my phone number --
(703) 534-6075.  I will be able to tell you with certainty by no later than
5 p.m. Thursday whether we will be going forward with the event.

We may end up postponing the opening of the site until Saturday morning.  If
that happens, and you were planning on staying on site Friday night, please
contact me IMMEDIATELY.  We will arrange crash space for you.  Thanks for
your patience.
