Castle Rising past away Thursday night. We will be organizing a monetary donation 
to the library she worked for in her name.  More details on the donation will

Catherine Beth Gurry 
Simpsonville

 

Catherine Beth Gurry, 28, of 108 W. Yellowwood Drive, died Sept. 11, 2003, at 
Greenville Memorial Medical Center.

 
Born in New York, she was the daughter of Mary Lawe Gurry and the late Thomas 
L. Gurry. She was a graduate of Agnes Scott College, Class of 1977 and was a 
librarian with Greenville County Library. Miss Gurry was a member of St. 
Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
 

She is survived by her mother, Mary L. Gurry, of the home.

 
Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday with visitation to 
follow until 8:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral Mass 
will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.

 
The family is at the residence, 108 W. Yellowwood Drive, Simpsonville.
