Another place you can get this book, IIRC, is Poison Pen Press. Lady Devra
used to carry the reissue of the original book.

There is a Warlock series (can't remember the author) that was based on a group
of SCAdians who went out into space looking for a planet where they could "do
their thing" and live in a medieval-type environment. The stories are centered
on a space traveler who accidentally landed on their planet and, because of his
advanced technological knowledge, became acknowledged as a warlock. I don't
remember how many of them there are, but there are several...one of which, IIRC
is called "The Warlock Unleashed".

And then, of course, not a book, but a film....KnightRiders. No, I'm not
talking about that silly TV series with the talking car. This was about the
SCA on motorcycles...and it starred Ed Harris. As I understand it, the author
based the story on an actual Crown Tourney that took place in Pennsylvania.
And those of you who have been to Pennsic will recognize much of the scenery.
One really cool feature is that Stephen King plays a cameo role in the movie!!
I'm not sure if it is still available, but you might check Half.com...they seem
to have a lot of slightly used movies available for really great prices.
