Greetings!
Please excuse this off topic plug here (and sorry if you get this twice, I'm cross-posting):
After being out of work for a couple of months, I have recently taken a position in the advertising department of a company called Carolina Environmental Progress. Things are going great and tomorrow is my last day of training!
Basically what I do is this: I go to people's homes and do tests on their tap water. I show them if their water has a bunch of crap in it or no---since the storms this past winter, there has been a LOT of debris that has gotten into the tap water! Then I fill out this survey about their reactions or opinions of the tests I did. I show them the company's treatment system if they do have a lot of crap in their system, and that's it. The company just pays me to do the demo, not to sell the system.
Anyway--I need help. Before they release me to the general public, they want me to practice this demo in 15 homes of people I am comfortable with. So, since I'm comfortable with my fellow SCAdians, I'm just asking that anyone who is a homeowner let me come in and practice the tests at their house. The company will pay for my travel anywhere in NC, northern SC, or southern VA.
If you are willing to help me out, please send me a private email with your name and phone number. Someone from the company will call you and say "Lisa McNeil gave us your name as someone she is comfortable with to practice doing tests on your tap water. When is a good time for you?" and they will set up an appointment for any time that's good for you.
I don't know a whole lot of you out there, but we may have met at Pennsic! I live in the Shire of Hindscroft and my husband is a HellHound! I really appreciate anyone that can help me out. Sorry for the bandwidth, now back to the regularly scheduled Tavern.
Milisandia Uxor Bran (mundanely Lisa McNeil)
