I think this part of it is a distraction to my main
point.  (When I said "friends" I was speaking more
generally than just this conversation.)  Some people
think it's a good law.  Some people think it's a
terrible law.  Telling people it's their issue because
shey don't think it's a good law only stresses the
speaker out.  Thinking either way is perfectly OK in
this organization.  You might get people to follow a
law but you'll never be able to tell people what to
think.

And while it's fun to discuss two sides to a story I
think after a while we only develop hurt feelings when
we realize too late that we're not going to be able to
tell each other what to think.
