[MR] what we "should" do

My Lady:

May I take polite exception to one point?

You wrote" "I often wonder, if at around 25 our parents have figured that
it's useless to tell their children what they should do or think, why can't
we figure that out about our friends?"

The fact is this. Our "friend" did not tell (or remind) us to do anything.
Our KING AND QUEEN did. And without launching another debate as to the
proper limits on the power of the Monarchy (Wat Tyler, anyone?) we tacitly
agreed when deciding to participate in a society that recreates a period of
monarchies to allow our monarchs to have some say over how the game is
played.

This isn't Duke Logan hammering people with his point of view. This was KING
Logan and QUEEN Isabel, our rightful monarchs, giving Their people
instructions they felt would better the game for all.

So they actually DO have the right to tell us what to do, because we gave it
to them.

Respectfully,

Lord Lyon Filshenri
Barony of Marinus, Kingdom of Atlantia
Squire to Syr Otto von Schwartzkatz
