For those people who started with plastic armor, how many tourneys did you
actually fight with it before you decided you wanted something stronger?

I'm not talking about fighter practices, but actual official events.

I guess I'm dating myself but this conversation reminds me of many
historical stories about carpet armor.  I'm having to dig deep for those
memories though! <G>
