Please feel free to share this message far and wide.

This is a reminder that the Third National Book Festival is this Saturday (October 4) starting at 10:00 a.m. on the National Mall between 7th and 14th Streets. Metro's Smithsonian Station is the best way to get there. Celebrate the joy of reading; hear presentations by fabulous authors, get reading-promotion information; learn about the Library of Congress; and get books signed. About those books: you can buy new titles there, or bring copies purchased elsewhere--even your treasured dog-eared old copies.

If you cannot come in person, consider plugging into the Library of Congress Website for the live cybercasts from the Teens & Children and Mysteries & Thrillers Pavilions. Also look for live and recorded coverage on CSPAN's BookTV and via www.cspan.org.

Appearing at the Third National Book Festival
