Milady,
I like the design and would love to a pattern/dimensions/etc, if such
exists.
This would be great for me to make for my lady while she is watch the lists
or not shooting on the archery field.

Yep, I'm working on it myself.  Syr Richard and I made a collapsable 
chair, and I've posted pictures of  it.  The text is still being worked 
on, but the pictures are viewable here (warning: the Clemson server is a 
bit flaky, try back later if it's not working).  The first picture is 
the inspiration piece.

Yes, it folds flat! You can get two of them from a sheet of plywood and 
a closet dowel (or two, I forget how many closet dowels we needed for 
the set of four chairs).
