[MR] Queen's Arms Change Polling Update

Greetings to all Good Atlantians who receive these words.

With two weeks remaining in the polling period I though I would let everyone know what progress we have made.  In as many words the answer is - Not so much.

I have only received polling responses from a double handfull of individuals, two groups, and two events.  (If you wish confirmation of your receipt, please contact me directly at Batcok @ Aol.com for the swiftest answer.)  The total number of responses are barely 200, well short of our goal of 25% of the kingdom.

If we really wish to have our opinions on the Queen's Arms Cange counted, we all need to respond directly.  Every person who does not respond has effectively cast a vote of NO.  If we do not gain a sufficient number of responses, it will not matter that everyone who did respond voted yes for the change.  This was the point that caused the return of the previous submission of the Queen's Arms Change last year.

To help with achieving our goal, His Majesty Ragnarr has extended the polling period through Saturday November 1st.  This will give everyone who attends Crown Tourney the opportunity to sign onto a polling sheet at that time.

Although we are mainly looking for the opinions of SCA members, we will also collect the opinions of non-members.  Their support of the change may help to bear some weight in the decision process by showing the total unity of the Kingdom for for the Queen's Arms Change.
