I don't have a paper or book that is devoted to just
Sicilian textiles. Most of the migration of
technology/art styles info is from books on trade or
art history papers on evolution of style. But there
are sicilian items in books on other topics.
Ah yes, but aren't they "fun" to find!
Thank you for your bibliography. I see one that I need to look into
immediately. The 12th century, particularly in this area, has a paucity of published
(English) information; you'll notice that a lot of the Islamic textile stuff
is 13th century and later and/or Spanish. I am hoping to rectify this gaping
hole in our information with my current research.
