of Welsh harp music.

Welsh Music Workshop
	7 pm, Wednesday, November 26
	
The Prism hosts a Welsh Music Workshop with Robin Huw Bowen, revered
master of the Welsh Triple Harp harp, on Wednesday Nov. 26, from
7-9pm. All instruments and levels of interest are welcome.

The fee is $40 for participants; $10 for observers. Reservations will
accepted by e-mail at tunes at theprism.org or by telephone at 434. 977-7476.

Robin will do a 15-20 minute demonstration before the actual workshop
begins.

This is an incredible opportunity to work with the only Welsh triple
harpist to make his living playing the harp all over the world.
Besides being a consummate musician, Robin is a holder of vast
knowledge about Welsh traditional music, especially harp music, as
well as harp tradition, and history. Robin has learned tunes from the
last of the Gypsy harpists in Wales and has authored many books,
compiling tunes that would otherwise be lost. 

Private Instruction with Robin will also be available for harp or
Welsh tunes during the afternoon of the 26th. The rate is $60 per hour
