[MR] Late but heartfelt thanks

Good day to all!

   I am so grateful for the encouragement I've received and also read here -- And 'ware of offering me help! I will accept! I've not responded sooner because of the blessing of extended shifts and workdays at my job.

   My Canton (Hawkwood) is having an event this month, and I am gathering up the courage to go. I appreciate your words of encouragement and experience.

   I am glad for this place that not only disseminates information, but is a forum wherein all speak freely. Of course, speaking freely means that responses are freely given, too? One would hope this freedom stays here -- ideas not expressed openly are t hose which eventually are divisive, I think.

   I shall write more when time permits--and when I think I have something to say. In the meantime, I shall continue to enjoy reading what you all reveal. Thank you. I love to learn, and what I see of the SCA is wealth of learning to me.
