I'm not sure I understand your question.  I know lots of people who have
purchased and raised purebred dogs...including us.  We have owned two
purebreds over the years, both Alaskan Malamutes...and they have been
wonderful dogs that have been important parts of our family.  The first had
a large litter (accidentally) by a purebred, registered Siberian Husky...and
they were wonderful as well.  We kept one to raise as a companion dog to the
mother.  Both of them are gone now, and we miss them.  The second we still
have, and he is wonderful.

We have also raised two mixes...one being the dog mentioned above, the other
a Samoyed/Akita(??) mix that we adopted from the local animal shelter.  We
have seen no difference in the manners, intelligence and affection shown by
either group of dogs.
