I'm not sure where this all started but I agree with the comments below....I
see nothing wrong with silly terms. Calling a car a dragon or the check-in
people trolls always makes me smile. It's just one of those fun things that
I've associated with our hobby almost as long as I've known about the SCA. I
may not be a long term member like some of the other's who've responded, but
I like the humor and would prefer to keep the humor in our kingdom and
society. Besides, most people don't look for the 'gate'...they ask for the
'troll' instead.
