[MR] changing terms - start a society-wide movement

Here's food for thought that doesn't really require a
response.

If you really don't like a word like "troll", realize
that this is an SCA tradition and begin your own
movement to change it at the SCA level. Changing it
at the kingdom level is limiting and confusing to
those who keep to the tradition.

So if you think that using a term like this is
contrary to history, start with where the usage starts
and change it at the SCA level. It's hard work,
you'll need a thick skin and lots of time but it is
possible and would be more meaningful than to change
it just in one kingdom.

It'd be sort of like my most recent experience. I
wanted more places to showcase and encourage research.
I had something very simple and small competition
idea set up. Weeks later after tons of feedback from
various laurels, everything changed, but we now have a
cool competition that has been turned into a potential
learning experience as well. Took a lot of time and
almost everything I had planned changed but it's there
and people are very excited about it.
