Realize however that the TSA is a 'baseline', individual airlines can be
more strict, so you need to check with them as well.
For example, according to the TSA, metal scissors with blunt ends are OK,
and so are plastic knifes and metal butter knives.
But all of these are specifically listed as a 'no-no' on United's page for
a United flight.
So check both places.
