Greetings all!
I would like to thank the Barony of Dun Carraig for
a rousing good time yesterday! We had much fun, much
food, and good, if cold, weather and we didn't even
stay for the feast this time!
Part of the reason we had such a good time is the
way the list field was set up. All the martial
activities were set up where everyone could see them
and not miss something else. The rapier, heavy weapons
and archery were all on the same huge field lined up
1,2,3. The rapier tavern brawl was a hoot!
When I go to an event the problem I have is I like to
see my daughter shoot archery but then I can't usually
see my husband in the heavy list or vice versa. On
this day my group and I could see all the activities
and we were thrilled!
The A&S display was wonderful and it was fantastic
to see the variety of items that people took the time
to share with the rest of us. There was plenty of room
for everyone to display thier items and under a window
with good light to boot!
If you were not able to attend the event in Dun
Carraig you certainly missed a fun event.
Thank you again!
