When I went to my first event, someone directed me to the place here
they take the money, and called it troll.  When I questioned that, they
said, "You know, toll gate, troll gate, joke?"  That was the second
thing that made me sure that the SCA was for me.  Silly is good.
Doesn't take itself too seriously is good.  In the long run, who cares
what we call it?  Take my money, thank you very much.  

Another 2 cents worth.  I'm so opinionated that I'm going to go broke.
