what i mean is that sca, in general, has failed to explore the great
possibilities of this demo. each year, so ive been told, the sca
participation grows and grows. this was like their fifth or sixth festival
and the first one that i ever went to. i have explored it and it really was
a lot of fun for the local people and the sca. thats all.

hope it makes better sense now.

Careful, Your Grace! That's a big brush and some folks who went and
supported demos at other locations this weekend might feel that you are
pointing fingers at them! (Not to mention those who attended events). But I
think I got your drift - it is a good demo opportunity and fun to boot. So
was the Manteo Festival Park demo that a good many folks in my area attended
- Elizabethan life on a *real* Elizabethan-era "fort" (It's not much of a
fort). Good thing they're annual, eh?
And some of us had to drive up to a meeting so the rest of you will have
fun next Pennsic... ;)
