Site: Marietta Mansion, 5626 Bell Station Road, Glenn Dale, MD, 20769-9120
The Marietta Mansion site will open at 4 p.m. Friday, May 30 and Close 3
p.m. Sunday, June 1. There will be camping available both Friday and
Saturday nights. There are no additions to the site fee for camping.

Martial Activities: There will be a tournament of arms Saturday at which her
Excellency will select champions of heavy, rapier, and archery. There will
also be a heavy torchlight tournament Friday evening at 9 pm. There will be
heavy melees on Sunday from 12 – 2 pm. There will be no authorizations on
Friday. Authorizations on Saturday and heavy authorizations Sunday.

Youth Activities: The theme is "round things in Baronial colors." There will
be a Youth and Teens archery time on Saturday for those interested. Baronial
Birthday will host the first annual Storvik children's triathlon. The
children will dress in storvik colors- (red white blue) and they will be
involved in at least 2 of the 4 kids activities and they will do at least 30
minutes of service. Kids will be asked to give up at least 30 minutes of
their time during the event (Saturday only) doing a service for another
adult who is not their parent.  Prior to this service, they will learn in a
roundtable discussion what service is, why it is good, and how it helps the
barony, kingdom, sca, and real life when people help each other. Youth
completing all 3 will receive recognition in Her Excellency’s youth court.
Atlantia Pages Academy: (ages 9-17) will have a Viking quest where
participants will look for objects, look for people and answer trivia
related to a viking theme. "Soap and Dirt In Period Times" class taught by
Gwenllian ferch Rhys ap Dafydd & Ysabel. - attendees will discuss uses of
soaps, herbs, and/or oils while learning the truth behind old rumors and
tales surrounding cleanliness (or lack thereof) during different Period
times.  Students will then be able to make soapballs popular during
Elizabethan times from handmade soap.
