Greetings Fellow Atlantians,
This is just a reminder that the waterbearers and chirurgeons still need volunteers and donations for Sapphire Joust. You don't need to work all day or even for hours in order to volunteer your assistance, an hour or ½ hour is enough time to be of use since every little bit helps...also keep in mind that there's numerous things that need done, so if you can't/don't want to haul or walk a lot there's still plenty you can do to help out. You also don't need to be able to donate a fortune in order to be of assistance, a single canister of Gatorade or box of band-aids will be met with gratitude and enthusiasm! :-)
So, please, consider helping out your waterbearers and chirurgeons in our efforts to make this a healthy and safe event for everyone! We're there to serve you but we can't do it alone. Any assistance in any form will be endlessly appreciated! Just show up at Waterbearer's Point or Chirurgeon's Point at any time to make donations or volunteer your services. In addition, there will be several donation cans placed throughout the site in which you can place monetary donations.
Below is a list of some items that are still needed. Thank you all in advance for your help and support. Please feel free to contact me (tracy.mazzone at digitalnet.com) for waterbearing questions, comments, volunteering, donations, etc. and Lady Clelia of the Mists (clelia1 at aol.com) for chirurgeoning.
Waterbearers still need: powdered Gatorade (yellow or orange, not clear or berry/purple colored), dill pickles, pretzels, oranges (or grapes), SaniTabs, and money to cover the supplies being purchased to supplement the donations.
Chirurgeons still need: any and all medical supplies and money to cover the supplies being purchased to supplement the donations.
Any overstock, should it occur, will be used for future events, such as Kingdom University in June. Again, thank you all very much for your assistance and support and please don't hesitate to contact us for any reason.
Yours In Service,
Lady Cicilia Tironi
Barony of Lochmere
Waterbearer in Charge of Sapphire Joust
