Speaking as a herald, I have to say that not all heralds are
created equal. We tend to specialize. Some of us are "book
heralds"-helping you & others pick out a name and arms. Some of
us are "voice heralds"-who can be heard clearly through the crowd
& the field, & among them there are people with previous voice
training (like choir singing or acting). Some among us are
capable of doing both.
It's been my custom to email my court reports to the Merry Rose &,
when applicable, to Storvik's mailing list, as well as to the
people who're supposed to get the reports. That way, if people
couldn't make it to the event, or couldn't hear me, they have an
official account of who got what. If you can't hear what happened
at court, ask the herald to email you a copy of his court report.
In Service,
Pedro
