Greetings Good Gentles All!

If I may, I'd like to pull a section of the Crown Tournament flyer for
further attention. I entreat you all to take the time to drop by the
Arts and Sciences in the hall throughout the day to glory in the
richness of Atlantia that the new Heirs will inherit come September.
Every member of the populace, regardless of rank or position, is welcome
and encouraged to leave comments and/or a token of your admiration for
the artisans on display.

Artisans, please have your items ready for show and entered by 11 am on
Saturday. We all wish to see the Crown Procession and Tournament upon
the field. I regret that late entries will not be accepted. We will
also need your entries picked up promptly at 4 pm so that the hall may
be transformed for another purpose.

I have included the Competitions and Categories below.
--------------------
A&S Competitions:

Tempore Atlantia 1250-1492 Currently scheduled competitions are:
--- Prizes for Best in Show and Best Documentation sponsored by the
KMoAS (moas at atlantia.sca.org)
--- Sideless Surcote competition with prizes for best surcote and best
documentation sponsored by Sajah bint Habushun (sajah at att.net)
--- Embroidery competition with prizes for counted thread embroidery and
surface embroidery sponsored by Kateryn Rous (katrous at yahoo.com)
--- Competition with prizes for men's and women's Italian Renaissance
clothing sponsored by Giuliana Salviatii
(jessica at summertreemosaics.com). Any region in
Italy is acceptable; documentation is required for all entries.
--- Competition with prizes for an item with an equestrian theme on it
or in it - such as illumination, leatherwork, poetry, song, etc. -- and
an item that would go on a horse - such as saddles, halters, headstalls,
reins, barding, bits, stirrups, armor, etc. Items worn by a rider will
also be considered if documented as to how they are specifically for a
rider - for example, armor for mounted combat or jousting that would
never be used by a foot soldier. Sponsored by Quenthryth of Laure
(quenthryth at mindspring.com).

Scrivener Royal Competition: This competition will determine who holds
the title of Scrivner Royal for the next year. For details, contact
Brandwyn Alston of the Rift (brndalston at aol.com).

Baking Competition: Theme is "Flowers". Entries should either
incorporate flowers/flower products or be made to resemble them. Entries
must be edible and documentation should include an ingredients list. Use
of the kitchen will NOT be available. Contact Sveva Lucciola
(ladysveva at yahoo.com or (919)471-6104). No calls after 10 PM, please
--------------------

Please forward this as you deem necessary to reach all the artisans who
might be in attendance this fine day. My deepest appreciation to you all.

Baroness Genevieve d'Aquitaine
acting that day for Lord James of Middle Aston, KMoAS
