Fellow Atlantians,

Hopefully he is still resting from his herculean
endeavors, but I ask you all to raise your glasses and
your voices in joyful gratitude to the Autocrat of
Sapphire Joust.
Neither the pouring rain or gushing mud could quench
the courteous spirits and efficiency of Master Bryce
and his staff. People had tents, food, portajohns,
merchants and parties when and where they were
expected. Fun seemed to be had by the hundreds who
attended -- especially at Countess Mary-Grace of
Gatland's FABULOUS party -- and that, of course, is
the point. From the moment I arrived on site I was
greeted by smiling, helpful staff & volunteers, and
that experience continued throughout the weekend. Two
courteous lords even helped the women of my household
take down our huge pavilion in the rain. The weather
may not have allowed enough fighting, but it wasn't
for lack of tents, field space, or trying.

So, Master Bryce, you stated you were trying to bring
back a big, fun camping event like those remembered in
golden days long past. In my book you succeeded.
Thanks to you and your staff -- and to Baron Balynar
Thorvaldsson & Caer Mear -- for all the hard work, and
a good event.

With gratitude (and nearly dry gear),
Lady Kilmeny
Companion to Countess Brigit of Mercia
Member of Moose Lodge
Amazon Daughter
Resident of Canton of Attilium,
Barony of Windmaster's Hill
