[MR] My Apology to Idonea

I mistook a lack of reply concerning how/what to send to our soldiers
overseas to have come from (Idonea / Kelli Carrington) our WH Baronial
Seneschal.

It was actually an email question not replied to me by a WH Canton's
Seneschal who was discussing our soldiers overseas. I was asking
about what we could send to keep them amused and their minds off
of things.

What I had in mind, besides asking for other suggestions, was buying
several small, light carving sets and adding diamond hones to them
to send for their amusement and take their minds off of things.
Weighing substantially less than a pound each.
To me, carving is mentally relaxing (though personally physically
painful)
and takes one's mind off of everything else. Which is why I thought of
it as an amusement. One of the few times per year I could find the
diamond hones was that weekend at a show.

We had both donated money and written to soldiers during Desert
Eagle/Storm.

I apologize for remembering the complete lack of reply from one and
mis-attributing it to the wrong person entirely. I had replied to a
posting of Feb. 15th, so it had been some time and I was a bit
irritated about it.

On going back through the trash, outbox, and inbox, I find I was
right about the lack of reply, but wrong -entirely- on the person
I was expecting it from.

I am very sorry for the mistake. I do apologize for it.
I received an email from her husband saying they doubt if they
ever got one. I see why now.

However, Ann and I did go looking for paperback novels specifically
last night for the soldiers that will likely be mailed tomorrow to
Barbara Shuping's brother. Wrote Any Marine Saturday. Would have
bought a military Care Package this month only we each sent checks
to help pay for Master Finnr's burial and condolences instead this
month.
That went out yesterday morning. Being on my disability/Ann's
unexpected early retirement from the state there is only so much money
to go around at times.

This of course is no excuse for mistaking Idonea for another woman
who did not reply to me at all. I had referred to her as the
WH Seneschal, and at the time I wrote it that is who I thought I meant.
I have chronic microvascular hardening of the brain that affects me
variously and will probably worsen. This was revealed in a brain scan
last year.

When I am wrong about something I will admit it and I will apologize.

Magnus
