[MR] Lampworking workshop in Durham, NC 3/15

The next Windmasters Glassworkers Guild meeting will be on Saturday,
March 15th at Sveva's house in North Durham. Several people have asked
about doing lampwork recently, so I will be doing "getting started at
the torch" instruction. Those more advanced are of course welcome to
bring their torches and play. Those who have really gotten into the
glass painting are welcome to come too and can set up outside if
weather is nice, or in the dining room if not. For those planning to
work at the torches, dress for the weather. If it is really too cold or
windy, we may have to forego the torches and play with the paint inside
instead. People should show up around noon (especially those wanting to
recieve instruction) and expect to leave by 4 PM. Also, please note
that there are cats in residence, so take any needed meds!

Also, for those who have friends outside the SCA who are interested in
this, they are more than welcome to attend as well, and may not be
alone. We have had friends and family show up before!
