Good news!  I am not married.  One of the tavern wenches claimed that we had stood before a priest last evening.  I had no memory of this (but then my memories many evenings are quite vague).  Needless to say I wondered how Margaret would react to these events.  But a band of traveling archers happened along and informed us of the deceptions these villages have enacted in the past.  The archers confronted her and she told the truth to me.  I have asked these fine fellows to join us.  Surely we cannot fail in our quest now.

My Esteemed Patron,

I have crossed the Danube and traveled into that area known as Südentür.  The last clue I had put the item we seek somewhere within these lands.  The villagers here are friendly to travelers, but I find the beverages not to my liking.  I think it must be an acquired taste.  However, the beef here is excellent.  If I had the means to transport some to you I would.  May my next letter bring you good news.
