I saw it, and loved it.  One of the participants was actually a local Park
Policeman.  Everything looked great, imho.  I even made sure to tape it (it
was on earlier this month).  I especially like the part where they have the
dancing the night before so as to choose the next day's champion on the
field.  Also, they paid a lot of attention to the role of women in the
Medieval tournament.  Highly exciting.  I would love to actually train and
then break REAL lances with someone.  I don't think this could be done under
the rules of the SCA, regrettably.
