Folks,

It is summer in North Carolina. After a very wet spring. The mosquitoes and the 
TICKS are showing up in record numbers. I ask that you please think of this 
when snagging your sunscreen to grab the bug repellant as well and then, the 
first chance you have with a nice light to check you and yours for ticks. 

The event site is all wide open field and is kept well-mowed so I don't expect 
any of it to be too bad but ... better safe than sorry.

Also... water,water,water ... it comes in bottles, jugs, big rectangular tub-
things ... your Coleman coolers ... I don't care, just bring it. There is no 
potable water onsite except that provided by the waterbearers. So please bring 
plenty for your encampment and to help the waterbearers make theirs go further.

Our chiurgeons and waterbearers will be at the ready and working hard for you - 
but they won't have to work overly hard if you guys do a little prep work 
beforehand! *grin*
