[MR] Rumors of water and abuse of power???

What a thoughtful thing for His Majesty to have asked. To be able to greet
us, the populace of Atlantia and our guests, at court with a cup of cool
water after a dusty and hot day. Leadership by serving may not have been
"period," but it is certainly most appropriate for our King

While I am a relative newcomer to the Society, to fair Atlantia and to Black
Diamond, my home barony, I am by no means so wet behind the ears as to
believe or perpetuate any rumor, innuendo or subterfuge. As for me, I will
believe only the good about people which I hear, but be warned of the bad in
people I experience. A reputation is too valuable a thing to have destroyed
with no just cause. I ask all my brothers and sisters similarly to believe
only the good they hear of anyone and to spread only the same. 

There is a high road to be had, and taking a stand for right and justice is
the only way to overcome darkness and scheming. I say, praise to our King
for refusing to accommodate evil-working whispering and morale-busting
rumor, and for bringing into the light what could have served to destroy our
pleasant fellowship.
