Greetings all, 
herein follows the event flyer for the Pennsic Post
Revel in the Barony of Storvik in lovely Northen
Atlantia:


Name of Event: Storvik Post Pennsic Revel 

Date of Event: August 23 

As the drums of war fall silent for a time, Baroness
Johanna von Sudeborn invites one and all to join the
Barony of Storvik at our Post Pennsic Revel. The
traditional "Best Pennsic Story" bardic competition
will be held as well as a competition in culinary arts
for the best period desert. A light meal will be
served for all to enjoy, and scribes new and old are
encouraged to try their hand at the "Storvik Baronial
award Prommisory scroll" competition. 


Arts & Sciences Activities: Save your best Pennsic
Tale and share it with us. The bardic competition for
best Pennsic Tale is open to all, with no restrictions
on form. Tell a tale of chivalry on the field, sing a
song of sleeping in past the siege weapon
authorizations, recite a poem about midnight madness
victories while juggling fish, your imagination is the
only limit. (If juggling fish, the autocrat prefers
salmon) 

All are invited to display their arts and sciences
learned or practiced at Pennsic War XXXII. Works in
progress are welcome. 

Cooks and Bakers are invited to delight Her Excellency
with an entry in the "Best Period Desert" competition,
as The traditional Storvik Post Pennsic desert Potluck
continues. Bring a desert dish to feed 5 and take
advantage of a $2.00 lower troll fee. Period desert
competition entries also qualify. Deserts will be
served to the populace buffet style after entries are
judged. 

Scribes are invited to produce a promissory scroll for
any Storvik Baronial Award. Entries should have the
minimum of one 8 by 10 black line on white paper
scroll with space for names and dates for any one of
Storvik's baronial level awards. Entrants may also
provide a colored version of the scroll as an example
to scribes that may use the promissory in the future.

Youth Activities: There will be an alquerque tourney,
with prize for most courteous player.

The only feast reservation is a paid reservation.
Reservations must be received by the reservationist by
Wednesday, August 20, 2003 to allow ample time for
feast preparation. Make checks payable to:Barony of

The site will open at 4 p.m. and Close at 11 p.m. 

Site Restrictions: The site permits wine only.

Directions: Take your best route to the Washington
Beltway (I-495). Take exit 25 (Rt. 1) South, and
follow Rt. 1 South. After about 2 miles, take a left
onto College Ave (The MD book exchange is on left).
The church is two blocks down on the left. 

Metro Directions: Take the metro (green line) to the
College Park Metro Station. When leaving the station,
take a right on Columbia Avenue. Columbia dead ends on
College Avenue. Turn left on College and walk about 3
blocks, the church will be on your right.
