[MR] Battle Musicians, Anyone?

I am but a poor country knight, hard put to place his new fief in the wilderness near to Attillium in order, clearing it of brigands and seeing to it that the Crown's justice is upheld within my demesne.  

I have not yet had the honour of entering battle alongside the armed might of Atlantia, and this year I must send my esquire, Sylvanus Perrin, to meet my commitments to the Crown's call to arms, for the lands near to my demesne are still wild and largely unsettled.

Thus, I know little of Atlantian war customs, and would like to be properly prepared for next spring's campaigning season.  
Please be so kind as to instruct me on such customs as you follow in this realm.

Would there be any interest in having a corps of battle musicians march into battle with our armies?  Would pounding the war drums and playing the pipes as we cut a swath of death through our foes lend spice to your music-making?  

Or, would helping arm and equip your musician friends do so appeal to you?

I think I have a fairly inexpensive and easy way to make drums, for those who are interested.
