I initially responded to this privately, but my inner tightwad can no
longer remain silent...I take a half-used roll of TP, stand on it until
flattened, then place in a zip-lock baggie.  Cost:  $.40.  Seeing
someone stomping flat a roll of TP:  Priceless.

***Some also take the half or 1/3rd roll, remove the card board center, and
place in a baggie.  Paper can then be pulled from the center with less risk
of escaping rolling rolls.
