Having followed these threads my question to all involved is why was not a
marshal's court held immediately after the battle where one and all involved
would have had their say and a proper hearing could have been held?

My Lord Richard:

You are assuming that the gentle archer was actually *targetting* a man who
was unhelmed. I say that is an unfair assessment of the case, considering
none of us HERE were attending the event in question and saw the incident in
question.

It could have been (and this is the most probable guess) that the archer was
aiming at a target closer to him, and as happens at times, all the events
needed for a clear path to this unhelmed fighter happened, and there was a
clear, straight shot at this person.

Nobody is casting doubts as to the honor of the fighter who was injured,
please do not cast doubts upon the honor of the archer who let loose the
arrow.

In Service to Atlantia,
Branwyn
