Please let me say, since it bears repeating, that I am terribly sorry to
hear of your injury.  I wish you a speedy recovery.

Let me also say that I admire you for the straightforward way you tell your
story, with no recriminations.  I also admire you for having the gumption to
go out and fight again, after what seemed a reasonable recovery time.  Many
men would have sworn it off.

I am neither an archer, nor (yet) a heavy fighter.  But, I have learned
several things from your tale.  First, I resolve to be more careful about
the edges of the battlefield.  And second, if injured I resolve to carry
myself with dignity and courage as you have.
