[MR] Elvegast A&S Night, Jan 16 - VIKINGS RULE!!!

Greetings!  Twelfth Night is over (woohoo!) and a GREAT TIME was had by
all (WOOHOOOOO!)!  Now it's time to move on to...  what else... YMIR!

Lord Dunstan has graciously agreed to talk to us this Thurs night (weather
permitting, the "s" word has been mentioned) about viking/pictish
stonework AND a bit about the viking sagas, and specifically Snorri
Sturluson and the viking sagas that he wrote about.  Come get some history
on the Vikings to show off at Tourney of Ymir!
We may also have some examples of Viking clothing (if you have some, feel
free to wear/bring it).

So, come on out and join us in the fun (have you ever heard Dunstan?  how
can it not be fun?) and learn something along the way!  As always, we are
in Poe Hall, North Carolina State University at 7:30 pm.  The room may
shift around a bit until we get a permanent assignment, but you can find
us - listen for the noisiest room on the 2nd floor.

The next A&S will be held Thurs, Jan 30th.  Lady Idonea will be presenting
us with more info on Vikings...  stay tuned.
