[MR] Message from Mistress Dervila

To all those who heard of Mistress Dervila's and Lord Tom's plight:

You will be pleased to know that after a small (ahem!) ransom and four day
delay,  Lord Tom and the van made it home.  That's what it took to  replace
the transmission. We were very lucky - Baroness Kaisaiya Zingara and Lady
Fiona graciously allowed us to crash with them Monday nght.  Lady Susannah
showed *true* nobility in driving from Gastonia to Hickory to Canton (and
back) on Tuesday so I could be home when school started. This was very
lucky, because we had run out of fuel oil, and the house had no heat.
Bringing me home probably saved my pet snakes' lives. When I left, Tom
stayed with her and her family (I couldn't  because they have four cats and
I like breathing). Lord Tom and I are incredibly grateful to everyone who
helped us out - Lady Ysolt, Lady Katherine Luval, Lady Rebecca the Contrary,
Baroness Kisaiya
Zingara, Lady Fiona, and especially Lady Susannah.
Oh, we have heat now. That was an ordeal in and of itself. with which I will
not try the patience of the taverngoers :>.
