While there are indeed several personal issues and some would say private
matters discussed here of late, it is still common ground. Not all on the
list are interested in all things that occur here and not all react the same
to all the opinions. The common Tavern is a place of politics, socializing,
news distribution, sharing and occasionally confrontation. While many
private issues were posted recently the individual in question exercised an
option to speak in public voice. And while the detail issues are not fodder
for common concern or comment, they do touch on common ground and approach
areas of concern. They involve institutions of private groups but abut
kingdom concerns. Besides if one wants to do away with such concerns the
only way to do that is to drag them into the light of day and hash them
completely. Allowing rumor, common knowledge, myths and such dark corner
gossip to thrive will only insure its growth and continuation. I believe, in
period, many finer ladies cultivated a talent for ignoring unpleasantness
that was outside the realm of their concerns.
